Zech's day at home

Quite a few friends have asked me what I do with Zech every day. Other than reading and walking around in the living room and in my bedroom, these are some of the activities I got Zech to do.

Morning activity before taking his cereal. He loves taking out the farm animals.

Zech's newly packed treasure box. I change the items every two weeks.

The yellow egg shell seems to be the most popular item.

After a while, he moved on to the next item, a pink spring toy.

Leaves collected from my mum's garden. Zech inspired me while he was taking his daily walk.

Zech now enjoys asking 'what's that?'. He points and asks me so often that I almost could not come up with an answer fast enough sometimes. Here's a picture of Zech with his favourite papaya plant.

Enjoying the great outdoors!

We've decided to make every Sat a family day. And what's better than the great outdoors.

Exploring sand at the beach. Zech doesn't really like the feel of sand. Hopefully, he will like it in time to come. He's happy playing with his beach toys though.

His first biking experience.

Walking on the grass at Bishan Park. Walking seems to be Zech's favourite activity ever since he started his first steps independently at 13 months.

A rainy day at the Botanic Gardens. Fortunately, it was just a light drizzle so we could still continue our walk in the garden.

An unforgettable day, I was surprised to hear Zech say so many words . Instead of us pointing and labelling, he pointed and labelled many things he saw around him. The word 'fish' seemed to be his most popular word for the day.

There is really tremendous value in taking kids outdoor. Learning simply comes alive!
